  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 package (17.3 oz) puff pastry sheets, thawed
  • 1 egg mixed with 1 tbsp water (egg wash)
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground lamb, chopped onion, parsley, cumin, coriander, and salt until combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into compact logs about 3 inches long.
  3. Roll out puff pastry sheets on a floured surface until thin and cut into squares.
  4. Place one kofta log in the center of each square and fold over the edges to seal.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush each burek with egg wash.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
