- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 1 cup bell peppers, chopped (mix of colors)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup provolone or cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 soft sandwich rolls or hoagie buns
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: chop onion and bell peppers; mince garlic.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, drizzle olive oil and sauté onions and bell peppers until soft (5-7 minutes).
- Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned (8-10 minutes).
- Stir in garlic and Worcestershire sauce during the last few minutes of cooking until fragrant.
- Lower heat, sprinkle cheese on top, allowing it to melt before mixing gently.
- Spoon mixture onto toasted buns and serve hot.
