- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water (room temperature)
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- Prepare the vanilla cake mix according to package instructions using eggs and water until smooth.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool slightly, then poke holes all over with a fork.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the holes and let soak for at least 30 minutes.
- In a chilled bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gradually add powdered sugar to taste.
- Spread whipped cream over the cake and top generously with sliced strawberries. Chill if desired before serving.
