- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Fresh cilantro or green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine sweet chili sauce, minced garlic, lime juice, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Whisk until well blended.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat or an oven to 400°F (200°C).
- For pan-searing: Add a bit of oil to the skillet and place the salmon skin-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown before flipping.
- For baking: Place marinated fillets on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Brush additional marinade over the salmon during the last minute of cooking for extra flavor.
- Remove from heat, garnish with cilantro or green onions if desired, and serve hot with rice or veggies.
