- 2 lbs baby back pork ribs
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pat the pork ribs dry and rub the spice mixture generously on both sides.
- Place seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil and cover tightly with foil. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
- In a saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and simmer over low heat until thickened.
- Remove ribs from the oven and brush generously with BBQ sauce.
- Return uncovered to the oven for an additional 30 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to caramelize the sauce.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serve with coleslaw or corn on the cob.
