- 3 cups shredded cooked boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup fresh jalapenos, chopped (seeds optional)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup crispy bacon bits
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake seasoned chicken breasts on a baking sheet for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
- Let the chicken cool slightly before shredding it into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, jalapenos, cheddar cheese, bacon bits, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Gently fold in the shredded chicken until fully coated.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and top with green onions. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
