- 1 can (5 oz) high-quality tuna in water
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt)
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 slices of whole grain or sourdough bread
Instructions
- Drain the canned tuna thoroughly and flake it into a mixing bowl.
- Mix in mayonnaise until creamy, then stir in Dijon mustard.
- Add chopped celery and mix well.
- Squeeze in lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon the tuna mixture onto one slice of bread, top with the second slice, and serve.
