Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pierce each sweet potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.
- If desired, rub the sweet potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Baking
- Place the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until tender when pierced with a fork.
Serving
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve as is or with your favorite toppings such as butter, cinnamon, or brown sugar.
Notes
Baked sweet potatoes can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven before serving.
