Ingredients
  

Dressing Base
  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional for sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Prepare the Dressing
  1. In a bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, honey, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until well combined.
  3. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while continuing to whisk until the dressing is emulsified.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Transfer the dressing to a jar with a lid for storage.

Notes

Store the vinaigrette in the refrigerator for up to a week. Shake well before each use.
