Ingredients
  

Salad
  • 1 head romaine lettuce washed and chopped
  • 1 cup croutons store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
Dressing
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Dressing
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt until smooth.
Prepare the Salad
  1. Add the chopped romaine lettuce to the bowl with the dressing and toss until the lettuce is well coated.
  2. Sprinkle the croutons and shredded Parmesan cheese on top of the salad.
  3. Toss gently to combine all ingredients.
Serve
  1. Divide the salad among serving plates and serve immediately.

Notes

For added protein, consider adding grilled chicken or shrimp to the salad.
