Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast sliced into thin strips
Vegetables
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 medium bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium carrot sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger grated
Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for cooking

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare all ingredients by slicing the chicken, vegetables, and mincing the garlic and ginger.
Cooking
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken strips and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger, stir-frying for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot, stir-frying for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch mixture, stirring well to coat everything evenly.
  6. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.

Notes

Serve hot over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
