Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast sliced into thin strips
Vegetables
  • 4 cups green cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup carrots julienned
  • 1 bell pepper red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons green onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare all ingredients by slicing the chicken, shredding the cabbage, and chopping the vegetables.
Cooking
  1. Heat the wok over medium-high heat and add the sesame oil.
  2. Add the chicken strips and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger, stir-frying for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the cabbage, carrots, bell pepper, and snap peas, stir-frying for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and rice vinegar, tossing everything to combine well.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Serve hot over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
