Method
Prepare the Oven and Baking Sheet
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix Dry Ingredients
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
Cream Butter and Sugars
- In another bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Eggs and Vanilla
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then mix in the vanilla extract.
Combine Mixtures
- Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in Cookies and Cream Pieces
- Gently fold in the crushed cookies and cream pieces until evenly distributed.
Scoop and Bake
- Using a cookie scoop, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
Cool and Serve
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
