Ingredients
  

Sauce Base
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce preferably low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil for flavor
Flavor Enhancers
  • 1 teaspoon sugar to balance the saltiness
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger freshly grated
  • 1 tablespoon chili oil adjust to taste
Garnish
  • 1 teaspoon scallions finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds optional

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  2. Add the sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chili oil. Whisk until well combined.
Garnish and Serve
  1. Sprinkle the chopped scallions and sesame seeds on top of the sauce.
  2. Serve immediately with your favorite dumplings.

This sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
