Prepare the Dough
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Assemble the Pizza
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone inside if using.
- Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza peel if using a stone.
- Spread the spinach evenly over the dough, followed by the sliced red onion and halved cherry tomatoes.
- Crumble the goat cheese over the top and sprinkle with chopped basil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze before slicing.
