Prepare the Dough
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
Assemble the Pizza
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone inside to heat.
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza peel. Spread the spinach evenly over the dough.
- Top with crumbled goat cheese, sliced red onion, and halved cherry tomatoes.
- Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone in the oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh basil and drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
