Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup mixed nuts chopped
  • 1 cup dried fruit raisins or cranberries
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped nuts, dried fruit, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey and peanut butter until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the honey mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until everything is well coated.
  5. Press the mixture firmly into a greased baking pan.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Remove from oven and let cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.

Notes

Store the granola bars in an airtight container for up to a week.
