Ingredients
  

Cake Layers
  • 2 cups heavy cream chilled
  • 1 cup powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package chocolate wafer cookies
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache optional for layering

Method
 

Prepare Whipped Cream
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chilled heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
  2. Whisk the mixture until soft peaks form.
Layer the Cake
  1. Spread a layer of whipped cream on the bottom of the loaf pan.
  2. Dip each chocolate wafer cookie in milk briefly and layer them on top of the whipped cream.
  3. Add another layer of whipped cream on top of the cookies.
  4. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  5. If using, drizzle chocolate ganache over the top layer.
Chill
  1. Cover the loaf pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Once set, slice and serve chilled.

Notes

For a different flavor, try using different cookies or adding fruit layers.
