Method
Prepare Whipped Cream
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chilled heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Whisk the mixture until soft peaks form.
Layer the Cake
- Spread a layer of whipped cream on the bottom of the loaf pan.
- Dip each chocolate wafer cookie in milk briefly and layer them on top of the whipped cream.
- Add another layer of whipped cream on top of the cookies.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream on top.
- If using, drizzle chocolate ganache over the top layer.
Chill
- Cover the loaf pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Once set, slice and serve chilled.
Notes
For a different flavor, try using different cookies or adding fruit layers.
