Ingredients
  

Onion Chips
  • 2 large onions thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for coating
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika optional for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Using a mandoline slicer, thinly slice the onions to about 1/8 inch thick.
  4. In a large bowl, toss the onion slices with olive oil, salt, paprika, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Baking
  1. Spread the onion slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chips are golden brown and crispy.
  3. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store any leftover chips in an airtight container to maintain crispness.
