Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
Topping
  • 2 cups strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup strawberry gelatin prepared according to package instructions

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow to cool completely.
Make the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
Prepare the Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, combine sliced strawberries with prepared strawberry gelatin.
  2. Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh strawberries and allow the salad to chill overnight for optimal flavor.
