- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Pat dry the chicken breasts and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter with olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and sear each side for about 6-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Once cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F), reduce heat and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken while spooning some garlic-butter sauce on top.
- Finish by sprinkling chopped herbs over the chicken before serving.
